Where we are
Sestri Ponente is a Genoese neighbourhood with a life of its own: it's not the postcard old town, but it has everything you need — shops, a market, cafés, restaurants with honest prices. It's well connected: the train station is 5 minutes on foot, and from there central Genoa and Piazza Principe station are just a few stops away.
If you're flying in, Cristoforo Colombo airport is 5 minutes by car or 20 on foot. If you want the nearest beach, Pegli is about ten minutes away by public transport, or you can head across the city to Nervi for a different kind of seafront walk.
